You want tile at, and above your water line. Period. You do not want laser printed tile. The glazing stinks, the colors fade above the water line, and there is no way to clean it and have results you are going to like when the job is done. You want a light tile with a darker pattern. A Beige, tan, darker cream ... to hide the calcium deposits at the water line, and a darker pattern to hid the oils and grease that our bodies put out, and that we put on our bodies to prevent that boiled lobster look. If you get an all light color tile, you are going to have a dark grey/black grease line at the water line. No natural stone or slate. The stuff I have seen so far just doesn't hold up. As always, if you come across something new, or have more questions, call. |
